Description
Chateau Pichon Bellevue is a dry red wine made from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, which is grown in the Chateau vineyards between the appellations of Saint-Emilion and Graves, on clay-calcareous soils. The average age of the vines reaches 30 years. The grapes harvested at the moment of optimum maturity are carefully graded and separated from the ridges. After soft pressing, fermentation is carried out in stainless steel containers, followed by maceration. Wine is aged in concrete tanks for at least 6 months. Before bottling, the wine is clarified with bentonite, stabilized and double-filtered using diatomaceous earth and membrane filters. Wine potential is 3-5 years.
