In this 2021 vintage, Clos de l’Oratoire is already a very enjoyable wine, rated 92-93 by James Suckling.
The colour is a deep red
The nose is bright, with black fruits such as cherry and blackcurrant and woody notes
The palate is full, round and fairly long. On the finish, a precise tannic structure and fine finesse characterise this bottle.
The blend of the 2021 vintage is made up of Merlot (81%) and Cabernet Franc (16%).
The wine is certified organic.
Aged for 16 months in barrels, 40% of which were new, with no fining.
